2025 Honda Shine 125: Same design, new features
The design of the 125cc Shine remains untouched, however, it receives a new colour scheme. In total, the Shine 125 is offered in six colour schemes including Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and the new Pearl Igneous Black.

In terms of features, the Shine 125 now comes equipped with a fully-digital instrument panel which provides a host of information including real-time mileage, Range (distance to empty), service due indicator, gear position indicator and Eco indicator. It also gets a USB C-type charging port for added convenience.
2025 Honda Shine 125: Updated engine
The new Shine 125 gets a very important engine update which is now OBD2B compliant. The 123.94cc single-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox makes 10.63 bhp and 11 Nm of peak torque. This unit is also equipped with an idling stop/start system which enhances fuel efficiency.  For the uninitiated, all vehicles sold post 1 April 2025 need to comply with the OBD2B norms which allows them to run on E20 ethanol blended fuel.
The Shine 125 uses telescopic front forks and dual rear springs while the braking setup comprises disc brakes at the front for the top-spec variant and drum brake in the base variant. Rear brakes on both variants are drum units.
