2025 Honda Dio vs TVS Jupiter 110 comparison — Style or practicality?

Honda has been on a spree with multiple launches ahead of the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo — from commuter motorcycles to scooters and even larger displacement motorcycles like the CBR650R and the CB650R. The latest was the launch of the updated Honda Dio, aimed at youngsters or ones looking for a bit of style. There is one problem — the TVS Jupiter 110, which offers style and practicality at the same time. So which one should you choose?

2025 Honda Dio vs TVS Jupiter 110 — Features and hardware

Let’s start with the new Honda Dio. The scooter retains its sporty looks which made it a success. As part of the update, the Dio gets five colour options – Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Mat Marvel Blue, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic – and is available in two variants, STD and DLX. The scooter gets a new 4.2-inch digital instrument console, a smart key fob, and theft protection. The Dio gets drum brakes at both ends and gets a 12-inch front wheel and a 10-inch rear wheel.

The TVS Jupiter 110 saw an extensive update recently and TVS has managed to blend style and practicality. The DRL setup at the front looks stylish while the larger boot space and floorboard have made it more practical. The Jupiter 110 also has a digital instrument console, while the optional front disc brake gives it better stopping power. One big advantage the Jupiter 110 has over the Honda Dio is the smartphone connectivity option with navigation that the Honda scooter misses out on.

2025 Honda Dio vs TVS Jupiter 110 — Engine specifications

The new Honda Dio and the TVS Jupiter 110 are both powered by a single-cylinder air-cooled engine mated to a CVT gearbox. They both make similar power and have similar torque, while the TVS Jupiter manages to squeeze out a bit more of the latter. Based on our extensive ride experience, the TVS is a good choice, but we will reserve our comments until we ride the new Dio.
