Hero has given the Splendor Plus a major update — a disc brake at the front. The motorcycle was spotted by an Instagram user in what looks like a dealer yard. Hero is expected to launch the updated 2025 Splendor Plus soon, given that the motorcycles were spotted with no camo at all, revealing all the updates the motorcycle gets.
2025 Hero Splendor Plus — What are the updates?
The major update with the new Hero Splendor Plus is the disc brake setup at the front. The current Splendor Plus is sold in four variants and all of them get drum brakes at both ends. The updated model gets a disc at the front and a drum at the rear, however, it is unclear if this will be a standard offering or reserved for the range-topping variant. Whatever it may be, the inclusion of a disc brake is welcome, as it offers better stopping power.
The next update is visual — the colour scheme. Based on the photos, there are two new colour options. The first is a red paint job with gold contrast and the second is a grey finish with what looks like white decals. There could be more colour options upon its launch. The colour combination adds a touch of sportiness to the Splendor.
2025 Hero Splendor Plus — Engine updates?
The fuel-efficient engine is the highlight of the Splendor and the unit could now be OBD-2B compliant. Apart from that, there could be no mechanical changes to the motorcycle and the engine will be paired to a four-speed gearbox.
