Hero MotoCorp has gone on the offensive in the recent past, introducing multiple new models across various new segments. The homegrown two-wheeler brand has teased another motorcycle ahead of its launch. The company has shared a Block Your Date invite with the media for an unnamed 125cc motorcycle dated for 19-20 August 2025.
The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer already has three 125cc bikes in its portfolio in the form of Super Splendor, Glamour, and Xtreme 125R. Hence, it is unlikely that Hero will add a fourth name to this list. In all likelihood, Hero will launch an updated iteration of Glamour 125 on the given date.
2025 Hero Glamour: What to expect?
A couple of weeks ago, spy shots of an updated Hero Glamour went viral on the internet. The highlight of the test mule was a feature which isn’t usually associated with commuter bikes. The test unit of the upcoming Hero Glamour was equipped with cruise control which is usually available only in select few bikes with a more powerful engine. The addition of cruise control to a commuter bike is a bold step by Hero MotoCorp considering it will be the first in the commuter segment to come with this feature.
Cruise control will allow the rider to fix a speed and maintain that same speed throughout without the intervention of the throttle. As per the recent spy images, the cruise control toggle button has been integrated on the right side switchgear, under the ignition button. The left side switchgear is also new and gets buttons to navigate through the new LCD instrument panel. The instrumentation looks like the same unit used on the Karizma XMR 210 and the Xtreme 250R.
The spotted motorcycle exhibits all the hallmarks of a budget commuter, including a basic triple-tree setup, conventional RSU telescopic forks, commuter-oriented foot pegs, a saree guard, a fully enclosed chain cover, a single-piece seat, and a practical rear grab rail.
2025 Hero Glamour: Current price & specs
The Hero Glamour is currently priced at Rs 95,098 (ex-showroom) and offered in two variants — Standard and Xtec. It is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 10.3 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. Hero claims a fuel efficiency of 65 kmpl, and the updated model is expected to retain these specifications, as they remain key selling points in the segment.
We expect the upcoming Hero Glamour with cruise control to be added in the top-spec Xtec variant. As for pricing, it will be worth watching how the addition of cruise control impacts its cost. If Hero manages to position it right, the Glamour could become India’s most affordable motorcycle with cruise control — a title currently held by the TVS Apache RTR 310.
