Bajaj pulled out a rabbit from its hat when it launched a new flagship Pulsar last year. At a stellar price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the Pulsar NS400Z undercuts even models from a segment below. It mostly received positive reviews from industry experts even though there were a couple of small niggles with the bike.
It seems Bajaj has taken the feedback into consideration and implemented them in the updated Pulsar NS400Z. Ahead of its market launch, the updated Pulsar NS400Z has started reaching dealerships. A video uploaded on YouTube channel Machine Rules, confirms the same.
2025 Bajaj NS400Z: Expected updates
According to Autocar India, the MY2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z will witness a small price hike. The updated iteration of the naked roadster will be priced above Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). For the small price hike, Bajaj is expected to add or update some of the components in the equipment. As revealed in the video, the updated Pulsar NS400Z comes with fatter 150 section rear tyres as opposed to 140 section rubber in the current model.

Further, the MRF Revz tyres have been replaced with Apollo Alpha H1 radials that should offer better grip on tarmac. Another point of contention were brakes. In the upcoming iteration of Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, Bajaj uses the same Grimecca brake callipers as before but the bike gets new sintered brake pads over the current organic brake pads that should avoid fading of brakes and offer better stopping power and improved feel at the levers.
2025 Bajaj NS400Z: Specs & Features
As for the engine, the Pulsar NS400Z will be powered by the same 373 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.45 bhp at 8,800 rpm along with 35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. This engine will now be updated to meet the latest OBD2B emission norms. A bump in power and torque output looks unlikely at the moment.
In terms of features, the Pulsar NS400Z comes with full-LED illumination, a negative LCD digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, switchable traction control, and a USB charging port. There are four ride modes on offer: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road.
