The wraps are finally off the new RR 310, and the sporty motorcycle has had mechanical and cosmetic updates to complement its design. Priced at Rs 2.75 lakh onwards, the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 looks more aggressive, thanks to subtle visual updates. Here’s what’s new on the updated Apache RR 310.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 — Visual updates
In the visual and cosmetic front, the overall design remains similar. The new TVS Apache RR 310 retains its sporty design with relaxed ergonomics. However, the decals and graphics have seen an update, giving the motorcycle a fresh look.
The next big update is both visual and functional — the winglets. Apart from giving the new RR 310 an aggressive look, the winglets also add downforce to the motorcycle and TVS claims that it adds 3kg of downforce, giving it more stability.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 — Mechanical updates
The first update is the engine. The 313cc liquid-cooled motor now makes 38bhp and 29Nm of torque, similar to the RTR 310. TVS has extracted more power by increasing the size of the throttle bodies, giving it a larger air filter box, and making the piston lighter.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which now gets a quickshifter as standard, apart from the base model. The motorcycle also gets all the electronic aids the RTR 310 gets, including Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control. All the changes have made the motorcycle quicker and TVS says that the new RR 310 is half a second faster to 100kmph compared to the older motorcycle.
TVS Apache RR 310 — Build To Order
The new RR 310 retains the BTO options, which are available in two versions — Dynamic and Dynamic Pro versions. The former gets adjustable USD forks, a brass-coated chain, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Dynamic Pro version gets a host of electronic aids such as cornering traction control, cornering ABS, cornering cruise control, wheelie control, and rear lift-off control. Other components such as brakes, tyres, LED lighting, TFT dash, and phone connectivity options have been retained.
