After launching the Ninja ZX-4R almost a month ago, there are rumours of Kawasaki bringing back the Ninja ZX-6R to the Indian market soon. As per a recent media report, the Japanese superbike brand is expected to launch in India by the end of this year. The bike sits in between the ZX-4R and the flagship ZX-10R in the company’s global lineup.

The Ninja ZX-6R was previously on sale in India until the BS6 emission norms kicked in April 2020, and the motorcycle went off the shelves. The bike has received comprehensive updates over the previous model internationally.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: Updates

The most prominent change in the new Ninja ZX-6R is its redesigned front face featuring a set of angry-looking new LED headlamps and a new windscreen. The fairings are also more chiselled and feature integrated winglets, like the flagship Ninja ZX-10R, for better aerodynamics. Rest of the model is visually similar to the outgoing model including the rear section and taillamp.

Powering the Ninja ZX-6R is the same 636cc inline 4-cylinder engine which now complies with BS6 phase 2 norms.
