Bajaj has its plans set to expand its Pulsar range of motorcycles with at least two brand new models lined up for launch in the coming months. Meanwhile, the Chakan-based bikemaker keeps updating the existing range of Pulsar motorcycles. The next big update is in the form of the current flagship Pulsar N250.

Bajaj has confirmed that the updated 2024 Pulsar N250 will be launched on April 10. As of now, the set of updates on the quarter-litre naked streetfighter isn’t known. Let us see what we can expect from the updated Pulsar N250.

2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250: Expected styling, features

The styling of the N250 isn’t expected to change much. In fact, don’t be surprised if Bajaj decides to keep the design untouched. This means the same wolf-eyed face featuring a central LED headlamp flanked by twin LED DRLs. It will also retain the sharp tail section with split seats and split grab rails for the pillion.

Bajaj is expected to add quite a few features to the flagship Pulsar. This includes a fully-digital instrument console that was earlier installed in the Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160, a couple of months back. This unit may boast of Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The new instrument console will lead to updation of the switchgear too.

However, the biggest feature addition will be a traction control system, a first for a Pulsar. While the use of traction control in a 250cc bike is debatable, it’s a nice safety feature in hand. Another feature update expected is dual-channel ABS with switchable rear ABS. This should allow more assurance when going on loose surfaces.

2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250: Expected mechanical specs

In terms of hardware, the updated Pulsar N250 is expected to benefit from upside down front forks. Braking duties are likely to be carried out by petal-type disc brakes as against the conventional units on the existing model. Plus, the rear tyre could be slightly wider for more stability and grip.

Powering the Pulsar N250 will be the same 249cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder motor as the current model that puts out 24.1 bhp and a peak torque of 21.5 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch.
