Bajaj Auto Finance on Thursday announced the appointment of Rajeev Jain as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from September 7.
Prior to this appointment, Jain was with AIG where he was Deputy CEO for its consumer finance business, a press release issued in Mumbai on Thursday stated.
He had also worked with GE and American Express earlier.
In Bajaj Finance, Jain will build the strategic framework to strengthen the company’s existing businesses and start new ones.
The management committee of Bajaj Finance comprising of business, HR, technology, finance, credit and collections, operation and audit will report to and work with Jain, the release said.
