Renowned singing sensation Neha Kakkar has recently took the delivery of a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 SUV. Neha has recently posted a picture of herself with her newest possession on Facebook to express her happiness. This is not the first time that a celebrity has purchased a Mercedes Benz and in fact, the brand is a choice of many eminent personalities when it comes to buying high end cars. The Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 was launched in India back in May 2016 and it can be owned at a price of over Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 SUV gets a bold two-slat grille at the front that give it a commanding fascia. The headlamp on the Merc GLS 350 takes its inspiration from S-Class. The Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 has character lines on the hood that offer a sportier feel. Powering the Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 is a 3.0-litre, biturbo V6 engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission system. The engine is good for churning out respective power and torque outputs of 258 hp and 620 Nm.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 comes with multiple safety features like cruise control, brake assist, collision prevent assist, crosswind assist, electronic all wheel drive traction control system and lot more. Inside the cabin, the SUV offers a premium feel as it comes with nappa leather coated seats, door pads and the steering wheel. The SUV also gets a free floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that adds up to its luxuriousness.
In other news, the new Mercedes-Benz GLS is due for an update and its next generation model will make its global debut sometime later this year. A test mule of the new GLS has been spotted a few weeks back undergoing testing on snow. The new Mercedes-Benz GLS will come based on MHA platform all thanks to which the car will be roomier and at the same time, will be lighter than its predecessor.
