After emerging as the single-largest party in the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wasted no time in taking a dig at the Congress and its leader, Rahul Gandhi, whose allegations of “vote theft” appear to have fallen flat.

With counting nearing completion, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is cruising toward a sweeping victory. The Election Commission of India has already declared results for several seats, and trends across the state indicate that the NDA is comfortably on track to cross the 200-seat mark.

The Mahagathbandhan’s hopes of staging a comeback have all but collapsed. Against this backdrop, the BJP trolled Rahul Gandhi, as expected, for his earlier claims of “vote theft” and even his much-discussed “hydrogen bomb”. The party’s social media machinery has been in full swing and is in a celebratory mode.

‘What will they blame now?’

The official handle of the BJP Tamil Nadu took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an image styled like a question paper. The “mock” test lists Bihar’s total number of constituencies – 243 – as part of the “exam briefing”. Under the heading “Part-III: After losing Bihar elections….,” the question paper presents its first query.

The first question in the 16-page question paper reads, “What will they blame now?”. The options are as follows: “SIR (Special Intensive Revision), Electronic Voting Machine, Election Commission of India, People or All the above.”

‘They will blame Trump,’ social media users think

The post, which gives a call to action, asking people to share their thoughts in the comments section, has received over 87,000 views and is still counting. It has also received over 8,800 hearts and several reposts.

Responding to the post, one social media user quipped, “This question is out of the syllabus.”

Another added, “They will blame Trump,” while a third added, “They might run out of options in TN and WB elections!”

“All the above. And the ranting has already started,” commented a third.
