Gensol Engineering, a key player in the renewable energy sector specializing in solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and electric mobility solutions, has executed a 16 MWp turnkey EPC rooftop solar project worth Rs 40 Crore. The company has received the Letter of Award (LOA) under the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment from a leading textile company for the execution of this project.
This is a repeat order for Gensol and the project will be installed in Madhya Pradesh which the company will be commissioning in six months. The project will utilize high-efficiency Bi-facial solar modules, chosen to maximize energy output and ensure long-term durability.
Shilpa Urhekar, Chief Executive Officer of Solar EPC (India), Gensol Engineering said, “The repeat order from the leading textile company is a testament to Gensol’s ability to execute complex projects at scale in a seamless manner within stipulated timelines. When completed, this project will be amongst the biggest rooftop solar projects in India utilizing a large rooftop area.”
The company aims to further harness solar power and contribute to the green energy infrastructure in the country.
