Virender Sehwag’s Twitter battle with English journalist Piers Morgan is not yet over. But this time the Indian great is at a loss over a “loose” comment. Following England’s thrashing in the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, Sehwag couldn’t resist himself from taking a jibe at England. He tweeted: “England loose in a World Cup again.Only the sport changes.This time it’s Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18.All the best for semis.”

While scores of fans liked and re-tweeted Sehwag’s statement, Morgan spotted an error in Sehwag’s comment. He didn’t let go a rare opportunity to take a lead in the Twitter battle between the duo that has been continuing since the Rio Olympics. In a tweet Morgan pointed out that it should be “lose” not “loose”.

Morgan had said it was shameful that a country with over 1 billion population was celebrating so much after winning just two medals. Sehwag had responded to Morgan pointing how shameful it was that England gave birth to cricket but never won a Cricket World Cup.

The Twitter battle between the duo reached to a level where Morgan challenged Sehwag, saying he would donate Rs 1 million in charity if England wins a cricket World Cup before India wins an Olympic Gold. He had asked if Sehwag would accept the bet.
