Unlike the ICC World Cup Finale on November 19, 2023, Pat Cummins didn’t have the luck on his side on Sunday. But there was no glimpse of the batting prowess that SRH exhibited in their last match against Mumbai Indians at Uppal. Instead, we saw Travis Head, Mayank Agarwal and other top order batters departing quickly.
If SRH didn’t do much with the bat, the Orange Army couldn’t do much with the ball. The super expensive over by Mayank Markande coupled with comeback of David Miller proved to be a lethal combo and the home side posted an easy win over SRH. In this edition, the only time a team won the away match was when Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday.
Gujarat Titans have maintained an unbeaten record at their home ground, winning both of their matches there. Their sole defeat occurred during an away game against Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad have faced two defeats, managing to secure one victory, thus accumulating two points from three matches.
