Several new names have been added to the final auction list, including Mani Shankar Mura Singh, Virandeep Singh, Chama Milind, KL Shrijith, Eathan Bosch, Chris Green, Swastik Chikara, Rahul Raj Namala, Virat Singh, Tripuresh Singh, Kyle Verreynne, Blessing Muzarabani, Ben Sears, Rajesh Mohanty, Swastik Samal, Saransh Jain, Sooraj Sangaraju and Tanmay Agarwal. The expanded list offers franchises a wider range of domestic and overseas options as they fine-tune their squads.

The auction will begin at 2:30 PM IST, which corresponds to 1:00 PM local time in Abu Dhabi. It will be broadcast live across multiple regions, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. In India, the live telecast will be available on the Star Sports Network, while fans can stream the event on the JioHotstar website and app.
Viewers in the United States and Canada can follow the auction live from 4:00 AM EST on Willow TV. In Australia, coverage will begin at 8:00 PM AEDT on Foxtel, while audiences in the United Kingdom can watch the proceedings from 9:00 AM GMT on Sky Sports and Now TV.
Purse details and key dates for IPL 2026 season
The franchises collectively head into the mini auction with Rs 237.55 crore remaining after retaining 222 players last month. Kolkata Knight Riders have the largest purse at Rs 64.3 crore, followed by Chennai Super Kings with Rs 43.4 crore. At the other end of the spectrum, Mumbai Indians have the smallest remaining budget of Rs 2.75 crore, with only six slots left to fill.
Meanwhile, the BCCI has informed franchises that the IPL 2026 season will begin on March 26, coinciding with the start of the Pakistan Super League. The tournament will begin roughly 18 days after the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 final, with the IPL 2026 final scheduled to be held on May 31.
