Matthew Wade, who stood helpless, tried a few shots in the middle, only to end up in a losing cause.
Axar Patel bowled an economical spell, giving just 25 runs from his four overs, and taking the wicket of Steve Smith. Bishnoi took three wickets in his spell, going for just 32 runs from his quota.
India finished their innings in style with Rinku Singh’s cameo, and three half-centuries from the top order. After a fierce start in the powerplay, Ishan Kishan accelerated the innings in the middle, followed by Rinku Singh’s cameo of 31 from just nine balls. Captain SKY scored a quick 19 off nine before toeing a ball to the cover region.
For Australia, Nathan Ellis took 3 wickets and stood out from the Australian bowling unit.
Indian openers provide a solid start in the powerplay. They scored quickly, targetted Australian bowlers, and managed to get big overs from the powerplay. Both the openers scored freely, before Jaiswal sliced the ball towards the short third man to end his innings, and got out soon after scoring his aggressive fifty.
