Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries (RIL) has cleared the decks for its first dividend payout after last year’s bonus issue. The latest announcement came during the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held on August 29, where shareholders gave a resounding nod to the resolution.

At the AGM, Reliance put forward the resolution for a final dividend on equity shares for FY2024–25. A 99.9994% of shareholders voted in favour.
This approval paves the way for the payout to be processed within days.
Reliance Industries Dividend 2025: Rs 5.50 per share dividend
The final dividend stands at Rs 5.50 per equity share of Rs 10 face value. This is Reliance Industries first dividend announcement since the 1:1 bonus issue in October 2024.
In the exchange filing, the company said, “Recommended a dividend of Rs 5.50 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.”
Reliance Industries Dividend 2025: Record date already fixed
Reliance had already marked August 14, as the record date. That means all investors holding RIL shares as of that day are eligible to receive the dividend.
With the AGM nod secured, the company has confirmed that the dividend will be credited within a week of the meeting, putting the payout window between September 1 to 5.
Reliance Industries Dividend 2025: How it stacks up against past payouts
The dividend of Rs 5.50 per share may look lower at first glance compared with previous years.
For instance, before the bonus issue, Reliance had paid a final dividend of Rs 10 per share in FY2023–24 and Rs 9 per share in FY2022–23.

The share price of the company has risen 12% so far in 2025. The company currently commands a market capitalisation of Rs 18.48 lakh crore. Its 52-week high stands at Rs 1,551, while the 52-week low is at Rs 1,114.85.
