Bharat Coking Coal is the largest producer of coking coal in India in FY25. The company’s production accounted for 58.50% of the total domestic coking coal production in that year. Its primary product is coking coal, and as of April 1, 2024, it had estimated reserves of about 7,910 million tonnes, making it one of the largest holders of coking coal reserves in India. It produces different grades of coking coal, non-coking coal, and washed coal, mainly for use in the steel and power industries.
