Dividend details and timeline
Mahindra & Mahindra has proposed a dividend of Rs 25.30 per equity share of Rs 5 face value, which translates to a 506% dividend payout. The record date for this dividend is today. This meant that investors needed to hold the stock before this date to be eligible.
The company has clarified that the dividend will be paid after July 31. Moreover, M&M has distributed 25 dividends since June 2003, and over the past 12 months alone, it has paid Rs 46.40 per share.
Sales performance
As per the M&M’s latest sales report for June 2025, the company recorded overall sales of 78,969 vehicles, including exports. This marks a 14% YoY growth.
Within the Utility Vehicle (UV) segment, Mahindra sold 47,306 units domestically, a 18% jump and 48,329 units in total, including exports.
In the Commercial Vehicles (CV) segment, domestic sales stood at 20,575 units.
Stock performance
The share price of M&M has seen a slight decline of nearly 1% in intraday trade on the ex-dividend day. Over the last five trading sessions, the stock has fallen by about 1%, but over the past one month, it has gained 3%. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the share is up by 2%, while over the last 12 months, it has delivered an 8% return.
Currently, the stock trades between its 52-week high of Rs 3,270.95 and 52-week low of Rs 2,425.
