Google has silently launched its Pixel 8 in all-new mint colour option internationally, India included. The official Google India store has listed the new colour option for Pixel 8 signaling its imminent arrival, which is to say that you can’t buy it just yet but hopefully, soon. Flipkart, which is Google’s sale partner, is yet to publicly list the product.

In global markets, the Pixel 8 Pro is also getting the same new colour option, but it is missing on Google’s India store and so, it is safe to presume, it’s not coming. The Pixel 8 Pro options are anyway limited in the country as Google only sells it in Bay and Obsidian while globally, you can get it additionally in Porcelain.

The Pixel 8 is available in more colours – Hazel, Obsidian, Rose and with Mint joining in, the number goes up to four. The Pixel 8 comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB at a a price of Rs 75,999 and Rs 82,999 as per its current listing on Flipkart.

The Pixel 8 uses the first-generation Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and has a glossy back and a matte frame. It has a 6.2-inch 1080p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000nits of peak brightness (up to 1,400nits in HDR) and Google’s Tensor G3 chip.

For photography, it has dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel main and 12-megapixel ultrawide. It has a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera. Powering the Pixel 8 is a 4,575mAh battery.

In related news, Google has also started rolling out the January Pixel feature drop which brings FDA-approved body temperature measurement and circle to search to the Pixel 8 Pro.
