Pop singer Meghan Trainor recently shared her weight loss transformation photos, and it has fans stunned. While she has always looked radiant, the Internet has not been kind to female artists. But Trainor’s fitter, toned, and muscular new look is not just workouts and diets alone. She praised her personal trainer, Bella Maher and spilled the secrets behind her improved health.

The 30-year-old Grammy winner has been working with Malibu-based Maher and emphasises greatly on healthy eating, mindful lifestyle, and strength training. Looking at the images she shared on social media, fans noticed a significant change from her before and after pictures.

Trainer shares Trainor’s journey

Maher wrote, “she did so much of this on her own before ever introducing a GLP-1, and even after starting it, the medication was simply a support, not the reason for her results. GLP-1s can be a powerful tool, but they’re certainly not a transformation plan. SHE is the reason this worked.”

She prioritised strength training, protein, intention, structure, and showing up even on the days she didn’t feel like it. She built this. She earned this. And now she gets to live in a body that supports her for life.

Trainor’s use of weight-loss drugs

Meghan Trainor’s fitness transformation combined science, balance, and a healthy dose of humour. Her routine included a low-dose prescription of Mounjaro, a GLP-1 medication, though her trainer insists her progress was fueled mostly by discipline and consistency. After becoming a mother of two, Trainor shifted her focus from punishing cardio sessions to a more balanced plan centred on strength training, higher protein intake, and proper recovery.

Reflecting on her journey earlier this year in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she admitted she’d spent years exercising “the wrong way.” “I was running and doing cardio all the time, and my body was always inflamed,” she shared.

A 2024 Lancet study and a related PMC article found that adding supervised exercise to liraglutide (another GLP-1 drug) treatment resulted in better long-term maintenance of weight loss and body composition compared to drug treatment alone.
