Actor Ajith Kumar’s film Vivegam finally reached theatres on Thursday.  It set an all time highest opening day collection record in Chennai. The film has earned a whopping Rs 1.21 crore as per trade analyst Ramesh Bala. In another tweet he said that the movie opened at number four in Hyderabad, but is at present in second position in the current top movies section, NDTV said. On first day, Rajinikanth’s Kabali had earned Rs 1.12 crore in the Tamil Nadu capital, bollywoodlife.com report said.

In another tweet, movie’s Kerala distributor Tomichan Mulakupaddam has tweeted that the film collected massive Rs 28,789,770 on the first day in the state.  Even in France, the film earned the highest number of entries as far as Tamil films are concerned. According to Bala, the film has earned 3,000 entries, while Kabali and Theri had earned 2,064 and 1,537 respectively. He also said that the movie’s day 2 collection has also picked up in Bengaluru.

As per Indian Express, the movie starts with assassin Ajay Kumar, the role played by Ajith,  leading a single man mission in order to secure a device which contains details of activating a nuclear weapon. He enters and wreaks havoc in enemy territory.

The actor, at the end of first action sequence, mouths the popular punch line – “Never ever, give up” just before jumping off the Contra Dam.  Just when his enemies thought they got better of him, Ajay comes out and successfully completes the mission. The film is all about one man’s exploitation, who can never be beaten, the paper added.

A flawless character, Ajay is a master  in many things. whether it is searching and killing targets, riding bikes and cars, or helping his wife with the cooking in her restaurant. The actor is an exemplary human being, whom you cannot help but adore. Since the beginning film’s director, Siva has been consistent in playing out the best of the characters.
