The much-anticipated gangster action drama They Call Him OG, also starring Emraan Hashmi, is set for a blockbuster start as the film has already crossed Rs 50 crore worldwide from advance booking, the highest-ever for a Pawan Kalyan-starrer, according to Sacnilk.

Social media trends suggest the film is veering towards the advance booking collections of Rs 75 crore, while Pinkvilla South estimates this number to be around Rs 80 crore. Sacnilk estimates that the film is sure to have a Rs 100 crore worldwide opening day, an achievement very few Indian films can boast of.
Industry trackers estimate the overseas pre-sales of the film to cross the Rs 27 crore mark, while Indian bookings are estimated at Rs 23 crore currently. This has led to a combined global advance collection of Rs 50 crore for the opening day.

Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya, the Telugu action thriller stars Pawan Kalyan as gangster Ojas ‘OG’ Gambheera returning to Mumbai’s underworld to face rival Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi. The film is set to release on Thursday, September 25, to make the most out of festival season when people flock in big numbers to movie theatres.
