The first song of Kaabil is out and we’re already looking forward to seeing Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam’s chemistry on the big screen. The actor released the video on Twitter today morning. The video starts out in the rather unromantic setting of a construction site. But it’s hard not to be pulled in by the cuteness of the pair as they go on to enjoy their time together – jumping on a trampoline, dancing till they drop (literally) – that eventually culminates with Hrithik’s character proposing. Since we know from the teaser that Yami’s character is going to be tragically killed, the video becomes endearing and heartbreaking at the same time.

Yesterday, Hrithik shared another poster of the film with the caption, “Love makes us want to be worthy of someone. #KaabilHoon video will be out tomorrow.” Little did we know that it was a literal translation of the new song’s lines, “Mein tere kaabil hoon.” And it was definitely worth the wait.

The one curious aspect of the video in one of the last scenes of the song is that the top of Hrithik’s head seems to glow red, probably because of the lighting. How it was possible for the entire filmmaking team to overlook the glitch is difficult to imagine, but the crown of Hrithik’s head becomes increasingly distracting as the scene continues. Then again, love does make people see the world through a rose-tinted lens.
