The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the revised timetable for the CA May exams. Applying candidates can access the new schedule on the official website icai.org.
The decision to revise the exam timetable comes in response to the Election Commission’s announcement of the schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha Elections, scheduled for April to June 2024. Keeping this in consideration, ICAI will release an updated schedule for the May 2024 examinations.
According to the previously issued official calendar, the foundation course exam is slated for June 20, 22, 24 and 26. Intermediate group one exams are scheduled for May 3, 5, and 7, while group two will be held on May 9, 11, and 13. The final exam for group 1 is set for May 2, 4, and 6, with group 2 exams scheduled for May 8, 10, and 12.
ICSI has announced revised dates for the CS exams. Originally scheduled to commence on June 1, they will now begin on June 2. Concerns have arisen among CA aspirants regarding potential clashes with the adjusted CA exam schedule.
If they postpone the CA exams to June, they will coincide with the CS exam.
