Students who appeared for the UPMSP board exams 2025 must score a minimum 33% in each subject each in Class 10 and 12. If one fails, students can also take the compartment examination for one subject.

This year too, the UP Board Class 10 and 12 results will be declared on the same day. Students of both classes can expect to access their scorecards shortly after the official press briefing and digital activation of the result links.

In 2024, 55.25 lakh students registered, and 3.23 lakh (5.84%) were absent. In 2025, the absentee count dropped to 3.02 lakh (5.56%), reflecting a small but notable improvement in student participation.

This year, 54,37,233 students registered for Class 10 and 12 board exams combined. Of these, 3,02,508 students – about 5.56% – were absent, a slight improvement over the absentee rate in 2024.

The evaluation of nearly 3 crore answer sheets began on March 17 and concluded by April 2. A total of 261 evaluation centres were used, and the board followed rigorous protocols to maintain transparency, accuracy, and confidentiality in the assessment process.
