The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially announced the TN HSE (+2) Class 12 results today, Thursday, May 8, 2025. Students who appeared for the board exams can now check their results online through the official websites — dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. To access the result, candidates will need to enter their registration number and date of birth.

When will the results be available?

The Board will announce the results at 9 am on May 8. The link to access results will be available post that.

Students can access their Tamil Nadu Class 12 results from the following platforms: dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. Results can also be accessed through DigiLocker website and app.

In case of server issues due to heavy traffic, students can alternatively use the DigiLocker platform to access their results.

Steps to download the marksheet

To view and download the provisional marksheet, follow these steps:

  1. Visit tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in
  2. Click on the ‘TN Result’ portal
  3. Select the ‘HSE(+2) Result’ link
  4. Enter your registration number and date of birth
  5. View your result on the screen
  6. Download and print a copy for future reference

Students should keep their provisional marksheet safe until the original one is issued by the board.

Students are advised to verify the following details after downloading their marksheets:

  • Student’s Name
  • Board Name
  • Result Name
  • Registration Number
  • Subject-wise Internal, Theory & Practical Marks
  • Pass/Fail Status per Subject

How to use DigiLocker to access results?

Students can also download their TN HSC Result 2025 and passing certificate via DigiLocker. To do this, they must have an active DigiLocker account.

How to create a DigiLocker account

  1. Visit www.digilocker.gov.in
  2. Enter your mobile number and click ‘Continue’
  3. Enter the OTP sent to your phone and click ‘Verify’
  4. Set a Username and Password (avoid using your username in the password)
  5. Submit your Aadhaar number and verify it via OTP or fingerprint

Once done, you can access your TN HSE results and documents on DigiLocker.

Students can download their Tamil Nadu Class 12 Results 2025 through the DigiLocker platform by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the DigiLocker app or website using your registered username and password.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Profile’ section and sync your Aadhaar number. (If your DigiLocker account was created using Aadhaar, syncing is not required.)
  3. Click on the ‘Pull Partner Documents’ option from the left-hand sidebar.
  4. On the next screen, use the dropdown menus to select:
    • Partner Name: Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations
    • Document Type: Choose HSC Marksheet, Migration Certificate, Passing Certificate, etc., as applicable.
  5. Enter the required details, including your Year of Passing and Roll Number (as mentioned on your TN Class 12 Admit Card).
  6. Click ‘Get Document’. Your TN 12th Digital Marksheet or Certificate will be retrieved.
  7. Click ‘Save to Locker’ to securely store the documents in your DigiLocker account for future use.
