Udupi has emerged as the top-performing district this year with an impressive pass percentage of 93.90% in the PUC 2 exams.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the grade-wise results for the 2nd PUC 2025 exams. Out of a total of 4,68,439 students who passed:

Out of 2,08,794 students who appeared through the Kannada medium, 1,17,703 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 56.37%.

In contrast, the English medium saw 4,29,011 students appear, of which 3,50,736 passed, achieving a higher pass percentage of 81.75%.

The Minister of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Madhu Bangarappa, has declared the Karnataka PUC 2 Exam 1 results today, April 8.

Students who were unable to appear for the Karnataka Board 2nd PUC Exam 1 in 2025 due to a shortage of attendance can apply for Exam 2 or Exam 3 as private candidates, in accordance with board regulations.

In the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2025, government PU colleges saw 1,44,425 students appear for the exam, out of which 82,474 passed. This results in a pass percentage of 57.11%.

In the Karnataka PUC 2 Exam 1 held in 2025, government PU colleges recorded a pass percentage of 57.11%, with 82,474 of 1,44,425 students passing.

Aided PU colleges had 98,649 students appear and 61,859 pass, resulting in a 62.69% pass rate.

Unaided PU colleges saw the largest turnout, with 3,29,458 students appearing and 2,73,156 passing — the highest pass percentage of 82.94% among all college types.

In BBMP PU colleges, 1,527 of 2,217 students cleared the exam, recording a 68.88% pass percentage.

Bifurcated PU colleges had the lowest pass percentage at 15.49%, with just 7,965 out of 51,427 students passing.

KREIS colleges performed well, with 8,458 of 11,829 students passing, resulting in a 71.48% success rate.

Overall, across all college types, 6,37,805 students appeared and 4,68,439 passed — bringing the total pass percentage to 73.45%.
