This year’s ICSE Class 10 Result 2025 saw an improved pass percentage across the board. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.37%, while boys achieved a bit lower than girls. It is 98.84%.

In 2024, 99.47 per cent of students passed CISCE Class 10 exams last year. Around 82.48 per cent (2,223) of schools achieved a 100 per cent pass percentage.

Students who failed to make a cut in up to two exams or wish to improve their scores can appear for the ICSE 2025 improvement exams. The Class 10 improvement exams will be held in July 2025 by the CISCE board. Detailed information will soon be available on the CISCE website: cisce.org.

Over 2.5 lakh ICSE, ISC students appeared for exams conducted by the CISCE board. The ICSE exams were conducted from February 21 to March 28, while the ISC exams took place between February 12 and April 3.

To clear the ICSE Class 10 exams conducted by the CISCE board, the students must score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject.

The CISCE will conduct improvement exams for ICSE Class 10 students in July this year. Those who have failed to achieve passing marks or want to improve their marks can take the exam conducted by the board.

As per the CISCE, a student must take exams for six subjects and secure passing marks in at least five of them, including English. The board has a grading system for ICSE students from 1 to 9.

Grades 1 and 2 are awarded for excellent performance, 3 to 5 indicate a pass with credit, 6 and 7 mean a basic pass and, 8 and 9 means the student has failed.

The CISCE also gives grades for Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service with A, B, C, D, or E grades.

For those students who think they could have scored good marks and are not satisfied with their marks, they may apply for re-evaluation. The re-evaluation process can be availed of through Online Recheck portal, which will be live for seven days from the date of the declaration of the result, in this case, from today onwards. The charges to be paid will be Rs 1000 per subject per candidate for the current year of Examination.

The CISCE ICSE 10th scorecard contains the name of the student, roll number, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, and the result status indicating pass or fail. It also includes information like the student’s unique ID, date of birth, and the division or percentage achieved.

Students can also download or access their scorecards through the DigiLocker facility provided by the Indian government. To avail of the facility, the student needs to type out the Aadhaar number to link it (if not already done), then tap “Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination”. Select the Marksheet tab and then ICSE Result. Input your year of passing and roll number to get your marksheet, migration, or passing certificate.

The result for ICSE Class 10 can be accessed online through the official website of CISCE, which is cisce.org.

Students should keep their admit cards handy as it has a Unique ID (UID) and Index Number, which will be required at the time of checking result.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will announce the results for both ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10) board exams today, April 30, at 11:00 AM.
