cbse.nic.in CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Result Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced class 10th and 12th results on May 13. Students who appeared for the CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 can check and download their results from the official website at cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in.
This year, the class 10 and 12 exams were conducted in a single session, starting at 10:30 AM and ending at 01:30 PM each day. Approximately 39 lakh students from around 26 different countries participated in the exams this year.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their results on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Besides this, they can also access their scorecards on DigiLocker and Umang Mobile App.
CBSE will issue merit certificates to the top 0.1 percent of students with the highest scores in their subjects. The CBSE Class 12 merit certificates for 2024 will be accessible to the respective students via their DigiLocker accounts.
As per the official schedule, the Class 12 CBSE supplementary exam is slated for July 15. Supplementary and re-evaluation applications will solely be accepted online, with the board not entertaining any offline submissions from students.
Next year, the CBSE will conduct the Class 12 board exams from February 15, 2025.

Students of class 10th can collect their mark sheets only from their respective school authorities. They have been advised to treat their online results for provisional purposes only.
People across India can dial the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 to access CBSE’s tele-counseling helpline, offering centralized support, information, and helpful tips to manage result-related anxiety or stress. Moreover, the ‘Counselling’ link on the CBSE website (https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/prunit_temp/index.html) provides additional assistance and resources to stakeholders.
Institution-wise, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.09%, followed by independent schools at 94.54%. Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA) schools have secured a pass percentage of 94.40%, while government schools and government-aided schools have achieved pass percentages of 86.72% and 83.95% respectively.
This year, over 2.14% of students have scored 95% and above. A total of 212,384 students (9.49%) have scored 90% and above, showing an increase from last year’s 195,799. Additionally, 47,983 students (2.14%) have scored 95% and above, up from 44,297 candidates in 2023.
Of the 316535 students appeared, a total of 298,649 candidates passed. The overall pass percentage of Delhi is 94.35%.
This year, over 1.32 lakh students have been placed in compartment, a marginal decrease since last year.
This year, girls have outperformed boys. The pass percentage for girls is 2.04% higher than that of boys. Girls have achieved an overall pass percentage of 94.75%, while boys have achieved 92.71%.
Students can check their CBSE Xth results by keying in their roll number, school number, date of birth and admit card ID.
This year, there has been a 0.48% increase in the pass percentage. In 2023, the pass percentage for Class 10 was 92.12%, while this year it stands at 93.60%.
This year the overall pass percentage is 93.60%.

To pass the exams, students need to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks.

“Class X Science, Mathematics and Social Science were opted by 22,62,692 students each and thus all 03 days, CBSE has conducted examinations of these students at 7612 examination centres and the examinations were conducted in 94,279 rooms with the help of 1,88,558 Assistant Superintendents,” CBSE said.
