The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued an advisory on Monday, cautioning students and parents against misleading information about the syllabus, resources, and sample question papers for the 2024-25 academic session. The Board emphasised the risk of relying on unverified news spread by certain online portals.
“It has come to our notice that certain online portals and websites are circulating outdated links and unverified news related to sample question papers, curriculum, CBSE resources, and activities. These links and news falsely claim to provide updated information for the session 2024-25,” the advisory stated.
The CBSE stressed that information from unauthorised sources can be misleading and create unnecessary confusion among schools, students, parents, and other stakeholders. The Board urged the public to rely only on official communications from CBSE to avoid any misinformation.
The CBSE advisory further identified specific websites and urged the public to rely solely on these official sources for accurate information regarding CBSE-related matters. The recommended websites include:
