CBSE Result 2025 Highlights: Has board officially released results date and time?

Once the results are declared (expected between May 11 and 15), students will receive their marks directly on their mobile phones. This SMS-based service offers a simple and quick way to access results without the stress of slow or overloaded websites.

CBSE is expected to release an official notification 24 hours prior to declaring the results. Students should keep their admit cards ready and regularly check the official websites for timely updates.

CBSE results will also be accessible via SMS, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app. Students who have appeared for the exam can download their digital marksheets from DigiLocker, while schools will provide the original marksheets and certificates later.

In 2025, over 44 lakh students appeared for the exams across 7,842 centres in India and 26 other countries.

After the CBSE results are out, students who want their papers rechecked or revalued can apply.

Students can use DigiLocker, UMANG app, SMS or IVRS to check their results.

If in a case the website crashes on the day of the result, students also have an option of checking results through IVRS. Candidate will need to dial on 24300699 along with are code, and then their marks will be told through a voiced message.

Students who will not be able to score a minimum score of 33 percent in all the subjects and fail in one or two papers will be allowed to appear for compartment exams. Supplementary examination is expected to be held in July, and results for the same will be out by August. The details on the date of the compartmental exams will be announced on day of the results are out.

Students will need to follow the steps given below for checking CBSE Board results-

Step 1-Visit the official website-cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Locate the results tab on the homepage and click on it.

Step 3: Click on the results for class 10th and class 12th

Step 4: Fill in your roll number, security pin, date of birth, admit card ID, and school number.

Step 5: Results will appear on the screen.

As soon as the announcement for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results is made, students can check their results on the following direct links:

Students will be able to collect their original marksheet from their respective schools. All the marksheets will be sent to the schools by the CBSE Board. Students are advised to treat online marksheet as provisional only.

As per the latest rules of CBSE, student will need to get a photocopy of their evaluated answer book before applying for it. This will help student to figure out the changes in their copy.

One will have to pay Rs 700 per subject for a photocopy of the evaluated copy. Rs 500 will be charged for verification of marks for one subject, and re-evaluation of a particular answer will of Rs 100 per question.

As per latest updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to declare the CBSE class 10 and 12 results by next week. Students are advised to keep a check on the official website as well on this space for all the latest developments.

2. For Class 12: Type CBSE12 and send it to the same number.

3. Your result will be sent directly via SMS.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 was 87.98%, marking an improvement over the previous year (2023). For Class 10, the pass percentage rose to 93.60%, a 87.98% increase compared to the previous year.

Step 2: Click on the link that says “CBSE Class 12 Result 2025”

Step 3: Enter your roll number, date of birth, school number, and exam center number

Once the announcement is made, students can check CBSE class 10th and class 12 board on cbseresults.nic.in. cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
