BSEB STET result 2025 date, time: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the BSEB STET Result 2025, today (January 5). Candidates will be able to check their Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) results on the official website, bsebstet.org.
A total of 4,42,214 candidates took the examination. Of these, 2,46,415 appeared for Paper 1, which determines eligibility to teach Classes 9 and 10, including 1,07,229 women and 1,39,186 men. Another 1,95,799 candidates appeared for Paper 2, meant for eligibility to teach Classes 11 and 12, comprising 71,178 women and 1,24,621 men.
BSEB STET Result 2025: When were exams held?
The STET 2025 examination was held on October 14, 2025, in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam was conducted in two parts – Paper I for Secondary teachers and Paper II for Senior Secondary teachers.
The provisional answer key was released on November 24, 2025, and the objection window also opened on the same day. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the answer key till November 28, 2025.

BSEB STET Result 2025: Eligibility criteria
To qualify the examination, general category candidates must score at least 50 per cent marks. Backward Class (BC) candidates need 45.5 per cent, while Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates must score 42.5 per cent. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), persons with disabilities, and women candidates, the qualifying mark is 40 per cent.
The exam consisted of multiple-choice questions and there was no negative marking. Candidates who clear the STET will be awarded a passing certificate, which will remain valid for a lifetime.
