Though verification has progressed, BSEB has not yet released an official notification about the exact result date for Class 10 or Class 12. Students are advised to keep checking the official portals.

Out of over 12.9 lakh candidates, 6,41,847 were girls and 6,50,466 were boys. The nearly equal participation highlights the growing gender parity in Bihar’s education landscape.

BSEB’s Inter pass percentage has shown consistent improvement—from 78.04% in 2021 to 87.21% in 2024. The board attributes this rise to stricter exam conduct and improved academic preparation.

During topper verification, the board compares students’ handwriting to detect discrepancies. If inconsistencies are found, the candidate’s rank may be altered. This step is crucial to ensure fairness and authenticity.

To prevent fake rankings, BSEB conducts an interview process for toppers. Each shortlisted student appears before a panel of 13–14 examiners and must answer subject-related and basic English questions.

After online results are published, schools will issue the official marksheets. These physical copies will be required for college admissions and are considered valid academic records.

Last year, the overall pass percentage was 87.21%. Science stream had 87.80%, Arts 86.15%, Commerce 94.88%, and Vocational stream 85.38%. Previous years saw a steady rise from 78.04% in 2021 to over 87% in 2024.

Students scoring 300 marks or above will be placed in the first division. Marks between 225–300 secure second division, while those scoring 150–225 will fall under the third division category for BSEB Class 12 exams.

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore has confirmed that the Class 12 results are likely to be declared in the last week of March, maintaining the board’s usual result timeline for intermediate exams.
