To access their BSEB Matric 2025 results, Bihar Board Class 10 students must have their roll number and roll code ready. If you don’t remember your roll number, you can find it on the admit card issued by the Bihar Board before the exams begin in February 2025.

In 2024, the pass percentage was 82.91%. Students and educators are optimistic for an improved result this year.

The results will be officially announced by Bihar’s Education Minister, Sunil Kumar, alongside BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore and Additional Chief Secretary S. Siddharth. Once declared, students must carefully verify their marksheets, checking details such as their name, roll number, subject-wise marks, division, and overall percentage. In case of any discrepancies, they should promptly report them to the board for correction.

Students failing one or two subjects can appear for compartment exams, ensuring they don’t lose an entire academic year.

Once results are out, BSEB will also release district-wise toppers and their performance details.

This year, 39 students were expelled for using unfair means. Each subject carried 100 marks, with a minimum of 33% needed to pass.

Shivankar Kumar from Purnia topped in 2024 with 97.80% (489 marks), while Adarsh Kumar from Samastipur secured second place with 97.60% (488 marks).

Students can check results by sending ‘BIHAR10 ROLL NUMBER’ to 56263. The result will be sent to their registered mobile number.

Past five years’ pass percentages: 80.59% (2020), 79.88% (2021), 78.17% (2022), 81.04% (2023), and 82.91% (2024). The trend shows gradual improvement.

In 2024, the pass percentage was 82.91%. Students and educators are optimistic for an improved result this year.

Students must apply for Class 11 admission through OFSS Bihar (ofssbihar.net), which manages admissions to government and private schools.

Due to high traffic, Bihar Board websites may crash. Students should use alternative links provided by the board or check via SMS.

In 2024, 13,79,842 students passed out of 16,64,252 who appeared. First division: 4,52,302 students; second division: 5,24,965 students; third division: 3,80,732 students.

Unhappy students can apply for re-evaluation. Those who fail one or two subjects can appear for compartment exams to improve their scores.

In previous years, Bihar Board has provided grace marks to students who marginally missed passing. It remains to be seen if this will be implemented in 2025.

Last year, the Bihar Board Class 10 results were announced on March 31, with an overall pass percentage of 82.91%. The Class 12 pass percentage for 2025 was 86.50%, slightly lower than 87.21% in 2024.

The BSEB Class 10 exams were conducted in two shifts daily: 9:30 am-12:45 pm and 2:00 pm-5:15 pm. The answer keys were released on March 6, with objections accepted until March 10.

This year, 15.85 lakh students took the Bihar Board Class 10 exams across 1,677 centers. The candidates included 8,18,122 girls and 7,67,746 boys.
