Tripura Election Results 2023: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a second term in the north-eastern state of Tripura. The results are in the keeping with the exit polls predictions which had predicted a return of the saffron party in the state. Polling for the 60-member Tripura Assembly took place on February 16, which witnessed a voter turnout of 89.98 per cent. From the Town Bardowali constituency, Chief Minister Manik Saha won and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma of the BJP was defeated by Subodh Deb Barma of the Tipra Motha party.

In the 2018 assembly elections, the BJP won 36 seats, while its ally IPFT bagged 18 constituencies. The CPI(M)-led Left Front emerged victorious in 16 seats, while the Congress drew a blank.
