An encounter erupted between security forces and terrorists in the Chasana area of Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday afternoon. The operation commenced around 1 PM, following specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the Shikari area, under the jurisdiction of the Chassana police station.
According to police sources, contact was established with the hiding terrorists, leading to an exchange of gunfire. Security forces have cordoned off the area to prevent any escape and to ensure the safety of local residents.
