Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jharkhand, Gujarat, and Odisha from September 15 to 17, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate key development projects worth over Rs 12,460 crore. The visit will focus on improving connectivity, infrastructure, and housing for the underprivileged.

Jharkhand (September 15):  

Modi will flag off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express at Tatanagar Junction Railway Station, marking a significant boost to rail connectivity in the region. He will also inaugurate various railway projects valued at Rs 660 crore and distribute sanction letters to 20,000 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). Among other projects, he will lay the foundation stone for the Madhupur Bypass Line and the Hazaribag Town Coaching Depot.

Gujarat (September 16):

In Gandhinagar, Modi will interact with beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and later inaugurate the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor’s Meet and Expo. He will also inaugurate the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, take a metro ride, and oversee the launch of several development projects worth Rs 8,000 crore, including key railway lines and solar power projects.

Odisha (September 17):

The Prime Minister’s visit will culminate in Bhubaneswar, where he will lay the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 3,800 crore. He will also launch the ‘SUBHADRA’ scheme, a major initiative aimed at empowering women in Odisha, and oversee railway and national highway projects. Additionally, Modi will release the first instalment of assistance for over 13 lakh beneficiaries under PMAY-G across 14 states.

This visit underlines the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, housing, and connectivity across these regions.
