After speculating that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jagdish Mukhi is the party’s chief ministerial candidate for Delhi Assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal today said rumours are rife that Union Minister Smriti Irani would be next Delhi chief minister if BJP comes to power.
“True? Buzz in Lutyens’ Delhi – if BJP comes in power in Delhi, Smriti Irani will be CM,” Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
BJP is yet to declare any chief ministerial candidate and the AAP has been demanding that the saffron party declare its nominee for the top post.

Miffed over AAP “projecting” him as BJP’s chief ministerial candidate on its posters, Mukhi served a legal notice to Arvind Kejriwal on December 26 for “misusing” his photo.
