The first edition of the UP International Trade Show 2023 is set to take place from September 21 to 25 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. President Droupadi Mrumu will inaugurate the event on Thursday alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Noida International Trade Show: Tickets, timing

Tickets are free for both general and business attendees, with different timings:

  • Business hours: 11 am to 3 pm (Attendees in this window must carry their unique code and E-Badge, obtainable by signing up on the official website http://www.upinternationaltradeshow.com).
  • General public: 3 pm to 8 pm (Free entry).

To ensure safety, a substantial security presence has been deployed in the Gautam Buddh Nagar area, including 8,000 police officers, Provincial Armed Constabulary units, and paramilitary troops. Additionally, around 1,300 police officers will manage traffic during the event.

Noida Traffic Advisory

Traffic restrictions are in place, including a halt on buses, autos, e-rickshaws, and heavy vehicle movements on the route. Non-commercial vehicle movement may also be restricted based on traffic conditions and VIP movements.

Visitors are advised to use the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway to reach the venue, with parking available at the Nasa ground in Knowledge Park and the campus of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management.

Alternate routes for non-commercial vehicles have been provided for various destinations, and a traffic police helpline number (9971009001) is available for citizens.

For heavy goods vehicles (HGV), medium goods vehicles (MGV), and light goods vehicles (LGV), alternative routes are suggested to avoid prohibited areas.

Non-commercial vehicles coming from Delhi to Greater Noida, Mathura, Agra, and Lucknow:

  • Take NH-09, NH-24, or NH-91.

Non-commercial vehicles going from Noida and Ghaziabad to Delhi:

  • Use MP-01, MP-02, MP-03, or DSC routes from New Ashok Nagar, Jhundpura, NIB, Model Town, or Chhijarsi.

Non-commercial vehicles going from Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur to Mathura, Agra, and Lucknow:

  • Follow NH-09, NH-24, or NH-91.

Non-commercial vehicles going from Agra, Mathura, Lucknow via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway:

  • Consider taking the route via Aligarh and Tappal to Bulandshahr or from Mathura to Delhi.

Non-commercial vehicles going from the Greater Noida West area to Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Hapur:

  • Reach your destination from Kisan Chowk via Tigri or Parthala via Chhijarasi via NH-24.

Non-commercial vehicles going from Greater Noida to Delhi, Ghaziabad via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway :

  • Reach your destination via Kisan Chowk,Shahberi,Tigri, Chhijarasi,and Parthala via Greater Noida West routes.

Non-commercial vehicles going from Phase 2 area to Delhi:

  • Reach your destination via New Ashok Nagar , DSC Road Jhundpura or via Sorkha, Parthala, Chhijarasi and Model Town

For heavy goods vehicles (HGV), medium goods vehicles (MGV), and light goods vehicles (LGV), the following alternative routes are suggested to avoid prohibited areas:

  • Use internal roads of the Delhi area via NH-24 or NH-91.

These routes should help in navigating traffic restrictions and ensuring a smooth journey to your desired destinations during the UP International Trade Show 2023.

Noida Metro frequency increased

During the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show from September 21 to 25, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will increase the frequency of trains on the Aqua Line. General public entry is free from 3 pm to 8 pm. Visitors can access the exhibition through the nearest metro station, Knowledge Park. To manage the rush, NMRC will provide trains every 7.5 minutes from 8 am to 10 pm, compared to the usual 10-minute interval. During peak hours (8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 8 pm), trains will run at 7.5-minute intervals. Parking is available at eight Aqua Line metro stations for convenience: Sector 51, Sector 76, NSEZ, Sector 142, Sector-137, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, and Delta 1.

Schools and colleges to open till 2 pm on September 21 and shall remain shut on September 22 on account of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show and the MotoGP race in Greater Noida, officials said as reported by PTI.
