Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday assured that India is in a position to defend itself, after his Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Asif said that the Islamic Republic will use nuclear weapons if its survival is at stake.
“I am India’s defense minister. I know my job well. So, you be assured that India is in a position to defend itself against anything. I will not speak on specific points,” he told the media here.
Asif also reportedly accused India of waging a proxy war against the country through terrorism.
