Three terrorists were killed on Saturday morning in an overnight encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said, PTI reported.
The confrontation began late Friday night when a cordon-and-search operation was launched in Chak Tapper Kreeri, located in the Pattan area of north Kashmir.

The situation escalated into an encounter when the terrorists opened fire on the search party, prompting a retaliatory response from the forces.
The cordon remained in place throughout the night, and in the early hours of Saturday, the terrorist was killed. Authorities are working to determine the identity and group affiliation of the deceased. The operation is still ongoing.
