Haryana News today: Haryana remains tense after communal clashes broke out in Nuh (LIVE UPDATES) on Tuesday. At least three people including two home guards have lost their lives in the violence that took place during Vishva Hindu Parishad’s procession in Mewat. In the aftermath of the violence, local administration has imposed CrPC 144 in Nuh.

Latest reports say that the mobile internet remains suspended to keep the miscreants from spreading rumours. In late-night development, the violence spread to Gurgaon’s Sohna. Schools in Faridabad, Gurgaon and Palwal have been ordered to stay shut today. Police force has been deployed in Nuh to maintain the peace. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has appealed for peace in the state. A PTI report says that Haryana has sought as many as 20 companies of the Rapid Action Force for a week. Vija also added that the Indian Air Force is on standby for airlift operations.

The deceased home guards were identified as Neeraj and Gursevak by the Gurgaon police, who said they were attached to Kherki Daula police station in Gurgaon. Police said another unidentified person was declared dead in hospital. By the evening, violence had spread to Sohna Chowk near Gurgaon, with several vehicles set on fire and shops vandalised. Incidents of stone-throwing and arson were reported from parts of Palwal and Gurugram as well towards the evening. As the clashes spilled to Prohibitory orders banning large gatherings were imposed in Nuh, Gurugram, Palwal, and Faridabad after violent clashes.

Meanwhile, neighbouring Delhi is also on alert following the Nuh clashes. Latest reports say that police have stepped up the surveillance and para forces have been deployed in border areas. A TOI report said that as many as 20 companies of para forces have been deployed in border areas. Railways operations have also been affected in parts of Haryana.
