Due to repair work of the master pipeline at Kadipur Chowk, the water supply will be disrupted on Friday in different areas of Gurugram from 10 am to 10 pm.
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will carry out repair work on Friday, resulting in a 12-hour shutdown at the Basai Water Treatment Plant and Sector 16 Boosting Station, an official said.
Which areas will be affected?
An official statement said that the water supply will be affected in several areas including villages Basai, Kadipur, Sirhole, Chakarpur, Nathupur, Sikandarpur, Hans Enclave, Sectors 10A, 37, 34, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 15, and DLF Phase 1 to 4, among other areas.
The notification by GMDA also stated that there will be no water supply in Cyber City, Udyog Vihar Phases I to V, South City-I, Sushant Lok-II, MG Road, and Surya Vihar (Dundahera). It has advised citizens to store water and not waste it to avoid dry conditions.
