One person was killed inside a Burger King food outlet in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden on Tuesday night, where multiple gunshots were fired, police said.
According to authorities, over 10 rounds were fired inside the fast food outlet. The incident took place around 9.42 PM when two groups visiting the restaurant engaged in an argument that quickly escalated.
Both groups, armed, began exchanging gunfire, leading to one person being injured in the crossfire.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vichitra Veer said, “An incident of firing, resulting in the death of a person, has been reported at Burger King in Rajouri Garden…officers and a crime team are at the spot…more teams have been formed to gather information and check CCTV cameras for clues,” according to a report by IE.

The injured person was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Another police officer noted that the suspects fled the scene on two-wheelers parked in a service lane near the outlet in J Block, Rajouri Garden.
The police have initiated a further investigation into the incident.
