Delhi Assembly Election Results Highlights: Delhi recorded a 59.71% voter turnout in the Assembly elections amid accusations of malpractices, including money distribution and fake voting, as AAP and BJP vied for control of the national capital. This was lower than the 62.59% turnout in 2020 when AAP secured 62 of the 70 seats, while BJP won eight and Congress failed to secure any. Long queues formed outside polling stations, with some voters still waiting after the 6 pm closing time.

Exit polls predicted a BJP victory, with several giving the party the edge over the ruling AAP, while Congress was expected to face another defeat. A total of 699 candidates are competing, with the outcome determining whether AAP will continue its rule for a fourth term or if BJP will form a government after 27 years. High-profile voters included President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal. The voting day was marked by intense accusations of electoral fraud between the two main parties, with both AAP and BJP blaming each other for voting malpractices in various constituencies.
