Delhi Elections Highlights: The 27-day campaign for the February 5 Delhi Assembly elections witnessed an intense contest between the AAP, BJP, and Congress, each sparring over a range of issues, including the “Sheesh Mahal vs Rajmahal” debate, the “poisonous Yamuna,” and a series of personal jabs. Parties engaged in public meetings, rallies, roadshows, and padyatras immediately after the poll schedule was announced on January 7. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari launched the party’s fourth campaign song for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
The song, titled “Dil Walo Ki Dilli Ko Ab BJP Sarkar Chahiye,” was performed by former MP Dinesh Lal Yadav, with senior BJP leader Neel Kant Bakshi serving as its creative director.
Tiwari explained that the idea for the song emerged after discussions about the party’s manifesto. He emphasised that the promises made in the manifesto are already being implemented in states like Haryana and Maharashtra.
