Police reported a huge fire eruption on Sunday morning in a boys’ hostel, injuring eight students. The incident occurred around 6:15 am in Landmark City under Kunhari police station. Initial findings suggest a short circuit in an electric transformer on the ground floor of the five-story hostel ignited the blaze, authorities stated.
Officials reported that 34 individuals were injured in a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus accident near Bhota Kaswa, around 16 km from Hamirpur. The incident occurred Saturday night at Tiale Da Ghat. Witnesses stated that a car suddenly appeared while the bus negotiated a sharp turn, prompting the bus driver to swerve left, resulting in a collision with a hill.
