Delhi Police bust sex racket in Ganesh Nagar, 6 people, including 3 girls arrested
Delhi Police on Saturday busted a sex racket in the South Ganesh Nagar area, they arrested six people including three girls during the raid. No new Nipah virus reported in Kerala: Health Minister Thiruvananthapuram
Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that no new cases of the Nipah were reported in Kerala till Saturday afternoon after samples of 11 more people tested negative for the infectious virus. HC directs FIR against policemen who ‘assaulted’ protesting relatives of murdered Bajrang Dal leader
The Jharkhand High Court directed the state police to file an FIR against its personnel for allegedly assaulting the relatives of Bajrang Dal leader Kamaldev Giri who was murdered in Chakradharpur last year.
Asaram approaches Rajasthan HC second time for parole
Asaram has moved the Rajasthan high court for parole after his plea for relief was rejected a second time, his counsel said on Saturday. Allowing his application, the high court on Friday issued a notice to the state government seeking a reply in two weeks.
Two terrorists killed in Baramulla encounter
Another terrorist was gunned down in an encounter with security forces in the Uri town of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Saturday. The encounter broke out in the Hathlanga forward area of Uri on Saturday morning.
Earlier, police said that one terrorist was killed in the encounter and search was going on.
NIA raids 30 places in Tamil Nadu, Telangana in ISIS radicalization and recruitment case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 30 locations in Tamil Nadu and Telangana on Saturday in an ISIS radicalization and recruitment case. NIA’s sleuths carried out these searches at 21 locations in Coimbatore, three in Chennai, and one location in Tenkasi– all in Tamil Nadu. Besides, the agency searched five places in Hyderabad in Telangana. These searches were conducted at the premises of persons connected to the case following fresh evidence about an ISIS module which could have links to the Coimbatore suspects.

The Consulate General of India in Vancouver has strongly condemned the assault on a Sikh student in Canada’s British Columbia province and called for prompt action against perpetrators. The 17-year-old Sikh student was either beer or pepper sprayed by another teenage student after exiting a public transit bus on his way home on September 11.
