PM Modi in Bihar Today | Bihar Assembly Election 2025 LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi kickstarted his poll campaign in Bihar on Friday. He took to X and wised the people of the poll-bound state on the occassion of Chhath and also urged them to share puja related songs with him. PM Modi is set to hold two major rallies today, one in Samastipur at 12:15 PM and another in Begusarai at 2 PM. Before addressing the public, PM Modi will pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, whose policies on social justice and reservations continue to shape Bihar’s politics even today. The rallies are being seen as a key moment in the campaign, with the NDA looking to build momentum ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

The BJP has been highlighting its development work in Bihar while attacking the Opposition for what it calls a politics of self-interest. The PM had earlier virtually interacted with young workers under the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ programme, where he urged them to strengthen grassroots campaigning. With senior leaders like Amit Shah also taking charge of on-ground efforts, the NDA is gearing up for a high-energy, high-stakes battle in Bihar’s political heartland.

PM Modi launches strong attack against Opposition

During his virtual interaction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticised the Opposition, calling their alliance a “Lathbandhan”. He accused them of putting “self-interest” above everything else and said they “don’t care about the youth of Bihar”.

“Those who call themselves the ‘Gathbandhan,’ whom the people of Bihar call the ‘Lathbandhan,’ only know how to use the lathi and keep fighting. For the ‘Lathbandhan,’ their own self-interest is paramount. They don’t care about the youth of Bihar,” PM Modi said. He further added that the people and youth of Bihar has suffered for decades from Naxalism and Maoist terror and that the Opposition “kept winning elections with the help of Maoist terror.” He said that Naxalism and Maoist terror had a big part in destroying Bihar.
